Coach Jackson has served as an assistant coach for the Polk State men's basketball program since 2017. At Polk State, Jackson has played an integral role in recruiting and player development, helping 25 student-athletes achieve All-Conference status during his tenure.
Prior to arriving at Polk State, Coach Jackson spent two seasons as an assistant coach at fellow NJCAA insitution Spartanburg Methodist College. At SMC, Jackson coached under Head Coach Jon Cremins and helped lead the program to consecutive conference titles, NJCAA Tournament appearances, and top-25 national rankings.
The Haines City native was raised in Aiken, South Carolina. Jackson played high school basketball at South Aiken High School for Donnie Holland who is now an assistant coach at the University of North Florida. After high school, he attended Notre Dame Prep and played for Bill Barton, which was ranked as a top-three prep program in the nation during his time playing there.
After prep school, Jackson signed to NCAA Division I College of Charleston. He played three years for Tom Herrion and his last year for legendary Head Coach Bobby Cremins. Jackson was an All-Southern Conference player at College of Charleston. Coach Jackson spent his last year of collegiate eligibility at NCAA D-I South Carolina State where he played for Tim Carter.
Jackson graduated from South Carolina State with a bachelor's degree in family and consumer science business.
