Biography
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024-25)
White played in 23 games for Polk State as a sophomore with 13 starts. For the season, White averaged 9,4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, ranking third on the team in both categories. His .595 field goal percentage led the team and ranked fourth in the FCSAA. White hit double figures 11 times, including a season-high 19 points and St. Petersburg College on Jan. 11. White recorded his ninth career double-double in the season opener against Victory Rock Prep on Nov. 1 when he finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds.Â
FRESHMAN SEASON (2023-24)
White appeared in 28 games, which included 16 starts, as a freshman. White ranked second on the team in scoring (10.6 points per game) while leading the Eagles in rebounds per game (6.8) and field goal percentage (.518). White’s eight double-doubles were also a team-best and included a 26-point, 15-rebound contest against Palm Beach State College on Dec. 2. White helped Polk State secure its first Citrus Conference road win of the season with an improbable off-balanced shot with less than one second to play in an 84-82 victory over Santa Fe College on Jan. 20.
BIO:
A native of Louisiana, White played high school basketball at Windermere High School where he was a second-team All-District selection. The son of Corey White and Shelly Clark, White comes from an athletic family. His father played football at Louisiana State University while his mother was a member of the track and field team at the University of New Orleans. When not on the court, White likes to cook and visit the beach. He proclaims himself as the best "Call of Duty" player on the team.
