Biography

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
Kenealy earned second-team All-Citrus Conference honors. As a sophomore, he led the Eagles in many offensive categories. Kenealy topped the club in batting average (.349), doubles (16), triples (2), RBIs (47), on-base percentage (.414), and slugging (.526). Kenealy was named FCSAA Player of the Year on April 16 after going .526 (10-for-19) with three home runs, three doubles, six runs scored, and 13 RBIs in four games. In a 14-4 win over St. Johns River State College on April 9, Kenealy had a career night, going 3-for-4 with two home runs and a career-high seven RBIs. Kenealy followed with another big day, going 5-for-6 with a home run, five RBIs, and three runs scored in a 13-6 win over St. Petersburg College on April 12. He was recognized internally as the Eagle of the Month for April. Kenealy pitched in seven games with one start, posting a 4.05 ERA and one save in 6.2 innings.  

FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
Kenealy hit .292 with six home runs, 13 doubles and 38 RBIs as a freshman for the Eagles. He was named second-team All-Suncoast Conference. Kenealy tied for the team lead in home runs. He hit two home runs and finished with a career-high five RBIs in an 8-7 win over St. Petersburg College on March 17. Kenealy pitched in nine games, posting a 4.82 ERA and two saves. He struck out 10 batters in 9.1 innings.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four year letter winner, two-time All-Conference, and one-time Most Valuable Player at St. Mary's High School. 

PERSONAL: Son of Jessica and Ryan. His favorite sports teams are the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. Damion enjoys hiking, snow tubing, and bowling in his spare time. Kenealy played varsity baseball for Head Coach Mike Bronakoski at St. Mary’s High School in Maryland. During his time in high school, he was a two-time All-Conference selection as well as team MVP in 2021. Kenealy has signed to play for Lipscomb University.
