Biography
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2025-26)
Jimmy Cami appeared in 22 games for Polk State as a sophomore with 11 starts. For the season, Cami averaged 5.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and a team-leading 0.6 blocks per game. He shot 77% from the foul line. Cami scored in double figures three times, including a season-high 14 points against Florida SouthWestern State College on Jan. 7. He grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds in a loss to Miami Dade College on Jan. 24. Cami had two blocks on two separate occasions.Â
FRESHMAN SEASON (2024-25)
Cami played in 26 games with seven starts as a freshman during the 2024-25 season, averaging seven points, 6.5 rebounds, and a team-high 1.3 blocks per game. For the year, Cami shot 46% from the field. Cami set a program record with 27 rebounds on Nov. 13 in a win over DME Academy. Cami scored in double figures six times, which included a career-high 24 points in a 111-107 victory against the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie on Nov. 15. He finished the season with three double-doubles, including in back-to-back contests on Nov. 13 and Nov. 15. Cami recorded a career-high six blocks in a home win over Palm Beach State College on Dec. 17.Â
