Biography
FRESHMAN SEASON (2025-26)
Josh Pitts played in 27 games with 12 starts as a freshman during the 2025-26 season. He averaged nine points and 3.7 rebounds while leading the team in assists (3.4) and steals (1.6) per game. Pitts shot 41% from the field and 34% from deep. Pitts scored in double figures 11 times, including with a career-high 20 points against Wake Technical Community College on Nov. 1. On Jan. 10 at Florida State College at Jacksonville, Pitts finished with 10 assists -- the highest total for a Polk State player all season. He set a career-high with six steals in a win over Southern Coast Academy on Nov. 15.Â
BIO:
The son of Tony and Akilah Pitts, Josh Pitts is a native of Orlando. He has two siblings named Genesis and Grace. At The Master's Academy in Orlando, where Pitts was coached by his father -- also a former college basketball player -- he was named the Boys Private School Player of the Year for his area. He finished with more than 1,000 points for his career and was a third-team All-State selection. Outside of basketball, Pitts likes to listen to 1990s R&B.
