SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024-25)
Knighten enjoyed a breakout sophomore season as a big-time bench scorer for Polk State. Knighten played in 29 games, averaging 8.6 points per game. His 31 made 3-pointers ranked third on the squad. Knighten scored in double figures in each of the Eagles' first six games and 11 times total. That included a career-high 28 points against West Bay Collegiate Academy on Jan. 2. He twice hit four 3-pointers in a game. Knighten set a career-high with six assists and a season-high with five steals in a win over Florida Gateway College on Nov. 22. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2023-24)
Knighten appeared in 22 games for Polk State as a freshman, including one start. Known for his defense, Knighten averaged 3.9 points per game. He scored in double figures twice, including a career-high 13 points in the season opener against Florida Coastal Prep. Knighten provided a boost off the bench in the conference opener against Miami Dade College on Jan. 6, going 3-for-3 from beyond the arc with nine points.

BIO:
At Matanzas High School in Palm Coast, Knighten was a second-team All-State and first-team All-Flagler County performer. He was also named Flagler County Player of the Year. Knighten is the son of Karl Knighten Sr. and Chandra Knighten. His brother Jay Jones played NCAA Division I football at Eastern Michigan University.
