FRESHMAN SEASON (2025-26)
As a freshman, Marques DaSilva-Romeo appeared in 27 games for Polk State with 13 starts. In his debut, DaSilva-Romeo scored 27 points and made seven 3-pointers -- the most for a Polk State player in a game since Tekorian “TK” Smith hit eight against Hillsborough Community College on Feb. 8, 2019 -- against University of South Carolina Salkehatchie. DaSilva-Romero again scored 27 points in a win over Florida College JV on Nov. 22. He hit double figures five times and ranked second on the team with 42 made 3-pointers for the season. DaSilva-Romeo set a career-high with five rebounds against Miami Dade College on Jan. 24.

BIO:
The son of David Romeo and Susan DaSilva-Romeo, Marques DaSilva-Romeo is a native of Ontario. DaSilva-Romeo played at Bond Academy where he was named the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Academy (OSBA) Trillium MVP and a first-team All-Star. He was also named MVP and an All-Star of the Big Shots Tournament. When not on the court, DaSilva-Romeo enjoys cooking and problem solving.
