SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024-25)
Owens' final season at Polk State was one to remember. A team captain, Owens appeared in and started 29 games for the Eagles. A first-team All-Citrus Conference and All-FCSAA selection, Owens led the team by averaging 16.1 points and 4.3 assists per game. Owens also shot team-high marks of 43.5% from deep and 88.6% from the free-throw line. Owens became the first player to lead the Eagles in scoring, assists, and steals per game since Tommie Lewis during the 2020-21 season. He set a career-high with 29 points in wins over Florida SouthWestern State College on Feb. 15 and Indian River State College on Feb. 26. Owens tied a career-high with five steals against Florida Gateway College on Nov. 22. He set a career-best with eight rebounds on three occasions and dished out a career-high 10 assists in a loss to St. Petersburg College on Jan. 11. Owens became the first Polk State player since Troy Simons in 2016 to earn FCSAA All-Tournament Team honors after finishing with 21 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals in the FCSAA quarterfinals against Daytona State College on March 11. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2023-24)
Owens was a mainstay in the Polk State lineup as a freshman, appearing in all 30 games with 25 starts. Owens averaged 8.6 points, a team-leading 4.1 assists, and 1.5 steals to earn All-Conference honorable mention honors. Owens also led the team by shooting 87% from the foul line. He scored a season-high 20 points in a 94-82 win over Gordon State College on Nov. 10.

BIO:
A two-time district champion at Centenniel High School in Port St. Lucie, Owens was named the District Player of the Year as a senior. His sister was a national champion at the NAIA level. Owens knows some sign language.
