FRESHMAN SEASON (2024)
Beatriz appeared in 12 matches with eight starts for Polk State as a freshman. Beatriz ranked second on the team by averaging 0.48 blocks per set and third with 16 total blocks. Beatriz finished with a career-high six blocks in a 3-2 win over St. Johns River State College on Sept. 4. She set a career-high with four kills in the season finale against Miami Dade College on Oct. 28. Beatriz tallied two service aces in a match on three occasions.

BIO:
Beatriz comes to Polk State with a history of success, helping her team finish first at Federação Paulista de Volleyball in 2022 and a third-place finish at Jogos Abertos do Paraná in 2023. Beatriz is the daughter of Renato Pereira Silva and Marcia Beatriz Lima. Her father and sister Manuela Beatriz are also both volleyball players. Both were setters. Prior to playing volleyball, Beatriz was a competitive handball player. In addition to volleyball, she likes to listen to music and cook.
