FRESHMAN SEASON (St. Augustine University 2023):
Sanchez played in 26 matches as a freshman at St. Augustine's University, an NCAA Division II program in North Carolina. She averaged 1.80 digs per set -- good for fourth on the team. She ranked fifth on the team with 20 service aces.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
One of just two sophomores on the roster for Polk State in 2024, Sanchez played in 16 matches with 12 starts for the Eagles. Sanchez averaged a team-best 4.82 assists per set, which ranked eighth in the FCSAA. Her 2.35 digs per set average was good for fourth on the team. Against Hillsborough Community College on Oct. 17, Sanchez finished with a career-high 30 assists and 15 digs. Sanchez recorded double-digit digs five times, including a career-high 17 against Santa Fe College on Sept. 30. 

High School: Played four seasons for St. Brendan High School; she was named a team captain as a junior and senior; she guided her team to state semifinals as senior; she helped the Sabres win three district titles and two regional titles; Sanchez also helped her team make the state semifinals twice. Sanchez was named second-team All-Dade County as a senior and honorable mention as a sophomore. For her high school career, she compiled 48 kills, a 0.206 hitting percentage, 92 aces, 487 points, 426 digs, and 869 assists.

Personal: Sanchez is the daughter of Jennifer and Carlos Sanchez; her mom played volleyball at Miami Dade College where she was a national champion; her dad played baseball at Florida International University. She has two siblings -- a brother Dylan and a sister Priscilla; Sanchez has played volleyball since she was 9 years old. When not on the court, Sanchez enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She is bilingual.
