Biography

FRESHMAN (2021): Competed in one match, earning a start at Gordon State on Oct. 9. Earned placement on the FCSAA State All-Academic Team with a 3.67  cumulative grade point average.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned placement on the Orange County All-Star Team in 2021. Bako was the Timber Creek High School Defender of the Year in 2019 and 2020.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Tibor Bako and Thuy Nguyen. Pursuing a degree in Business Management. Her father, Tibor, played professional soccer for 14 years, including a stint with the Seattle Sounders and for several teams in Hungary. Cate's favorite sports team is Manchester City and her favorite athlete is Kevin De Bruyne. Hobbies include reading and watching movies such as Interstellar and Black Phone.
