FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
A local product who played an Auburndale High School, Fernandez earned All-Region 8 honorable mention honors as a freshman. Fernandez played in all 15 matches with 14 starts. She finished with five points (two goals and one assist). Fernandez scored her first career goal in a 3-0 win over Florida National University JV on Sept 29. She was part of the team's leadership council for 2023. Fernandez earned FCSAA and NJCAA All-Academic honors with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
After earning honorable mention as a freshman, Fernandez was named a second-team All-Region 8 performer as a sophomore. For the season, She appeared in 11 matches for the Eagles -- all starts. Fernandez finished second on the team with three assists. Her lone goal of the season came on Sophomore Day in a 6-1 win over Millennia Atlantic University on Oct. 5. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Fernandez was the Player of the Year for Auburndale High School in 2022 and 2023. She was voted first-team All-Polk County and was a part of a district championship squad at Auburndale where she played for current Polk State Assistant Coach Tawanda Kaseke. 

PERSONAL: The daughter of Frank and Niki Fernandez, Fernandez's sister Logan also played for Polk State Soccer team. Fernandez's favorite athlete is Julie Ertz and her favorite athletic team is the U.S. Women's National Team. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting and fishing with her family. She desires to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.
