FRESHMAN SEASON (2024)
As a freshman for Polk State in 2024, Torres emerged as a major offensive weapon. She appeared in all 12 matches with five starts. Torres ranked second on the team with four goals scored and with eight points. She scored her first two career goals in a 5-0 win over Trinity Baptist College JV on Sept. 21. She added goals against Millennia Atlantic University on Oct. 5 and Eastern Florida State College on Oct. 14. 

BIO:
The daughter of Luis Torres and Maria Luisa Garcia-Torres, Torres is one of three children. She has a brother named Mauricio and a sister named Maya. A standout at Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Torres lettered all four years, helping the program with two district titles. The program's all-time leading scorer, Torres was a three-time All-Area player, a three-time offensive MVP, and a team captain. Born of Puerto Rican and Venezuelan descent, Torres enjoys playing the guitar, collecting records, and thrifting.
