Box Score WINTER HAVEN — After dropping a five-set heartbreaker to Santa Fe College to end the month of September, Polk State Volleyball didn't fare as well on Saturday. The Eagles fell in straight sets on Sophomore Day, 3-0.

The Saints completed the sweep with wins by scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-15. Despite the loss, there were some notable individual performances for the Eagles (4-9, 0-8 Citrus Conference).

Alexia Ortiz Munoz led Polk State with nine kills. Deyja Tshibangu added six kills. One of two sophomores on the roster, Sofia Sanchez paced the Eagles with 15 assists on Sophomore Day.

Polk State will be home for the final time this season on Monday when it hosts Eastern Florida State College. The match is scheduled for 6 p.m.
