• For Wednesday's home match against Daytona State College, Polk State will recognize four sophomores as it celebrates it annual Sophomore Night. Isabella Ramos, Marina Santos, Alexia Ortiz and Rezzan Guner will be honored before the contest.
• Sarah Boe Soerenson led the Eagles with six kills and seven digs in Saturday's loss to No. 1 Florida SouthWestern State College.
• With wins over Daytona State and Eastern Florida State College, Polk State would clinch a berth in the FCSAA Tournament.
• Polk State beat Eastern Florida in the first meeting between the teams on Oct. 1 in five sets. Ortiz led the way in that one with 16 kills and four service aces. It was the Eagles' first Citrus Conference win under Head Coach Jessica Beal.
• Daytona State beat the Eagles 3-1 when the teams met in Daytona Beach on Sept. 27. Ortiz led Polk State with 15 kills in that one. Sophia Marini paced the Falcons with 11 kills.
• Eastern Florida's Leyre Arroyo Sanchez ranks fourth in the FCSAA with 3.43 kills per set, but hasn't played since the Oct. 1 contest against the Eagles.
• Daytona State's Alice Santoro is tied for third in the FCSAA, averaging 1.06 blocks per set. She also ranks fifth in the state with a .302 hitting percentage.
