Box Score TULLAHOMA, Tenn. — Polk State Soccer's losing streak ended at two on Friday, but its winless streak ran to three. In their first of two straight matches in Tennessee, the Eagles settled for a 1-1 draw against Motlow State Community College.
The Bucks struck first but Polk State (6-4-1) answered with a first-half goal of its own.
Madison Caustic scored her third goal of the season in the 20th minute off the feed from
Aleyshka Orellano.
Orellano now has a team-leading three assists on the season. Neither team would score over the final 70 minutes.
Unlike on Wednesday when looks were hard to come by against No. 8 Eastern Florida State College, the Eagles had opportunities against Motlow State. The Eagles finished with 15 total shots.
For the second straight match,
Ryann Stephens performed admirably as goalkeeper for the injured
Ella Sebree. The freshman finished with five saves.
Polk State will have a short turnaround as it heads to Knoxville for its final road match of the regular season against Pellissippi State Community College on Saturday. Match time is slated for 5 p.m.
