WINTER HAVEN – With winter and spring sports just around the corner, Polk State Athletics has plenty of sponsorship opportunities.

This fall features three events that will benefit Polk State's athletics teams. In addition to sponsorship opportunities, some events like the John R. Alexander Memorial Clays Classic and William N. Ryan Memorial Golf Classic have opportunities to participate for those who enjoy clay shooting or playing golf.

Tip-Off Social

Supports: Polk State Basketball

John R. Alexander Memorial Clays Classic

Supports: Polk State Athletics
Date and time: Thursday, Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Polk Sporting Clays, Mulberry

34th Annual William N. Ryan Memorial Golf Classic

Supports: Polk State Baseball
Date and time: Friday, Nov. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Hall of Fame Banquet

For the first time in more than a decade, Polk State Athletics will induct new members into its Hall of Fame. A banquet will be held this spring to formally induct the new members. The date, location and 2026 Hall of Fame class will be announced later this year.

In the meantime, Polk State is looking for sponsors, including table sponsors and a title sponsor. Founded in 2000 by then Athletics Director Bing Tyus, the Polk State College Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes the greatest players, coaches, teams and contributors to the College's athletics programs.
