PREVIEW

• Polk State will look to put an end to a seven-game losing streak when it hosts Florida SouthWestern State College on Wednesday. The Eagles beat the Buccaneers in overtime last season on Sophomore Day for their first-ever win over FSW.

• Eric Dailey continues to be a force for Polk State on the offensive end. Dailey has eclipsed the 20-mark in each of his last three games, which included a 25-point effort against No. 5 Northwest Florida State College last week.

• Ethan Simon recorded his fourth double-double of the season in Saturday's 83-78 loss to Santa Fe College. Simon finished with 13 points and 16 rebounds in the loss.

• Polk State will wrap up the non-conference on Saturday at Florida State College at Jacksonville. The Manta Rays received votes in the latest NJCAA Division II poll. FSCJ has won the last two meetings, including a 68-66 thriller last season in Swainsboro.

• Florida SouthWestern's Stephen Okoro ranks fourth in the FCSAA, averaging 8.9 rebounds per game. Simon of Polk State is right behind him, averaging 8.7.

• FSCJ's Albert Laguerre leads FCSAA Division II players in scoring, averaging 13.4 points per game while shooting 53% from the field.
