PREVIEW

• Polk State opened the season with two wins over Central Georgia Technical College by a combined 14-0 margin. Fourteen different Polk State players registered a point over the two matches. Freshman Jaycie Noble leads the FCSAA with three goals and six points. Polk State's Kaylin Allen, Isabella O'Sullivan and Abi Shannon are each tied for second in the FCSAA with five points.

• Sophomore Kaylin Allen finished with three assists for Polk State in an 8-0 win over Central Georgia Tech on Saturday. Janessa Crespo was the last Polk State player to register three assists in one match. She did so last season in a 9-1 win over Saint Leo University JV on Sept. 18.

• With the 8-0 win on Saturday, Polk State's first victory in each of Head Coach Dee Shivraman's four seasons have come by shutout. Over the first two matches, the Eagles tallied 109 shots to just two for the Titans. 

• Polk State lost to Warner University JV 2-1 in its first road match of the season last year. The Eagles are 8-0 all-time against Pasco-Hernando State College.

PREVIEW

• Three matches into the season, Polk State sophomore Chillis Oke is tied for the FCSAA lead, averaging one service ace per set. Oke finished with four aces on Saturday in a loss to No. 5 Trinity Valley Community College.

• During Polk State's trip to Fort Myers for the Battle at the Beach Invitational, sophomores powered the offense. Camila Freitag led the Eagles with a career-high six kills in their first two matches of the season against No. 7 Salt Lake Community College and Butler Community College on Friday. On Saturday, Dublin Fitzgerald set a career-high with nine kills against Trinity Valley.

• Polk State's Ana Martinez ranks fourth in the FCSAA, averaging 2.33 digs per set. Martinez finished with 14 digs on Saturday against Trinity Valley.

• Polk State will head to Ranger, Texas for four matches in two days as part of the Wrangler/Ranger Roundup. This will mark the first out-of-state trip for the Eagles since 2022 when they went to Nevada for the College of Southern Nevada Coyote Classic.
