Box Score LAKELAND — Polk State Soccer's final tune-up before the FCSAA Tournament turned out to be a tough one. Against mostly NCAA Division II varsity athletes, the Eagles were defeated by Florida Southern College JV, 5-0.
Polk State (3-8) managed just one shot on Wednesday night. That came from freshman

Leona Kraus, the FCSAA leader in saves, finished with three saves for the Eagles.
Isabella Ruiz added two in relief. Bria Weldon scored a pair of goals for the Mocs.
Polk State will put its season on the line on Friday night against host Daytona State College in the FCSAA Tournament semifinal. The Falcons won both regular season meetings and claimed the FCSAA regular season championship.
