• Entering this season, no Polk State player had hit a walk-off home run since Destinee Jackson in 2019. Lacey Osborne has now done it twice. After doing so against John Melvin Christian College on Feb. 19, Osborne's walk-off blast on March 5 against St. Petersburg College gave the Eagles their first Citrus Conference win, 14-13.

• With home runs in both games of last week's doubleheader against St. Petersburg College, Kirsten Aldridge now leads the team with four on the season. Calonnie Holmes, Osborne and Makenzie Foster each have three.

• Grace Adamonis picked up her first win in the circle for Polk State in Friday's 5-4 win over Mott Community College. Adamonis recorded the final four outs as the Eagles rallied for victory.

• Polk State will play its final non-conference games of the season on Thursday against Triton College, Waubonsee Community College or Heartland Community College as part of The Spring Games. Under Head Coach Kevin Lewis, Polk State is 15-6 against out-of-state competition.

• Annalyn Duncan has been the power bat in the lineup for Eastern Florida State College this season. She is hitting .418 with three home runs and leads the Citrus Conference with 38 RBIs – good for third in the FCSAA.

• Florida SouthWestern State College went 4-0 against Polk State last season. Eastern Florida State went 3-1 against the Eagles.

• With the win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against St. Petersburg College, Roman Corinti is now tied for the FCSAA lead with five victories this season. Teammate Carson Montsdeoca is one behind with four. Polk State is one of just four FCSAA teams to have multiple pitchers with at least four wins.

• Through four Citrus Conference series, the Eagles have been involved in four sweeps. Polk State swept Eastern Florida State College and St. Petersburg College. It was swept by Florida SouthWestern State College and Seminole State College of Florida.

• Polk State starter Ronald Causby took a no-hitter into the seventh and final inning of the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against St. Petersburg. Although the no-hit bid was broken up, Causby became the first Polk State player to record a complete game on the mound this season.

• For the season, Polk State has five players with at least 20 RBIs this season. Jack Muller leads the team with 25 RBIs, followed by Hayden Testerman (23), Marvin Montenegro (22), Bradyn Potter (21) and Kustarr Webb (21).

• Polk State split a doubleheader with Lake-Sumter State College when the schools met in Leesburg on Feb. 7. After a walk-off loss in the first game, Polk State got six shutout innings from Corinti in the second. Lake-Sumter's Jacob James ranks fourth among FCSAA Division II players with a 3.45 ERA. He allowed two runs in four innings in the first meeting with the Eagles this season.

• State College of Florida will arrive in Winter Haven tied atop the Citrus Conference standings with Florida SouthWestern State at 9-3. SCF's Dominic Woodward leads the FCSAA with 41 RBIs. The Eagles took two of the three meetings between the teams last season.
